Foxx signing copies of her recent book God is in the House at King location
King, NC—U.S. Representative Virginia Foxx will sign copies of “God is in the House” at Gullion’s Christian Supply Center in King, NC on Saturday, August 12 at 1 p.m.
“We are excited to welcome Congresswoman Foxx to our King location,” said Dwight Gullion, owner of Gullions Christian Supply Center. “Her book is an important collection of testimonies that remind us how Christians are still having a positive influence in government at every level. This is a must read for anyone who wants a glimpse of how God is at work in the halls of Congress.”
God is in the House is a collection of essays by members of Congress who reflect on their deep faith and how it guides them as legislators. The book was compiled by Foxx who personally asked congressional colleagues who are devout in their faith, who are in Bible study with her, or who she knows on a personal level to contribute. The book includes testimonies from seventeen members of Congress, representing ten Christian denominations from both political parties.
“For years I have wanted to tell the stories of how God worked through the lives of my colleagues in Congress,” Foxx said. “I am grateful to Gullion’s for offering a venue to share these testimonies with other believers who I know will be encouraged and inspired.”
