Foxx Endorsed by SBA List

Washington, D.C. –  Today Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of U.S. Representative Virginia Foxx for re-election in North Carolina’s 5th Congressional District.

“Virginia Foxx is a passionate advocate for unborn children and their mothers and we are proud to endorse her re-election,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser, a North Carolina native. “Congresswoman Foxx doesn’t just have an impeccable pro-life voting record – she has led the charge to end late-term abortions when unborn babies can feel pain, protect babies who survive abortions, and stop forced taxpayer funding of abortion. She is a staunch defender of President Trump’s pro-life policies in a hostile, Nancy Pelosi-led House. In a time of unprecedented extremism from House Democrats, who back abortion on demand through birth and even infanticide, the voices of strong pro-life, pro-woman leaders like Congresswoman Foxx are more vital than ever. We urge all pro-life voters of the 5th District to get out and support her at the polls.”

SBA List first backed Virginia Foxx in her competitive 2004 primary. Foxx has long championed the pro-life cause and often chairs or leads floor debates on pro-life legislation, earning an A grade on the SBA List National Pro-life Scorecard.

Congresswoman Foxx introduced the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act and the Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance Act. She is a co-sponsor of the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, and the Support and Value Expectant (SAVE) Moms and Babies Act. Congresswoman Foxx also offered a unanimous consent request for consideration of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.

SBA List is a network of more than 837,000 pro-life Americans nationwide, dedicated to ending abortion by electing national leaders and advocating for laws that save lives, with a special calling to promote pro-life women leaders.
